Councillor Polillo announcing his Re-election campaign for Prince George City Council!
Ron Polillo for a Positive Prince George!
Hadih and Hello,
Today, I’m very excited to announce my re-election campaign for Prince George City Council! After serving last 4 years on council and 4 years as a School Trustee for School District 57(2018-2022). I believe, I bring a balanced, common-sense and collaborative approach to council. I have the proven leadership, passion, vision and positive style needed for the next four years! With 2 of my council colleagues running for mayor, now more than ever, we need experienced leadership around the council table. Let’s work together to make Prince George a safe, inclusive and growing city in the north and British Columbia!
My leadership roles over the past 4 years with council and in the community have prepared me well to face the challenges and seize the opportunities ahead! Over the past four years, I’ve had leadership responsibilities with the Finance and Audit committee, North Central Local Government Association Board of Directors, Public Safety committee, Northern Medical Programs Trust executive member, council liaison for the Accessibility and Inclusion committee and appointed to the Blackwater Gold Community committee.
My community leadership includes many years as President of the PG Italian Cultural Centre, current Vice President of Northern BC Crime Stoppers and St. Mary’s Church Pastoral Council Chairperson from 2020-2026. I’m a former executive board member on the PGYSA Board of Directors (2008- 2010) and the North Caribou Senior Soccer association from 2006-2008. I have been a Soccer referee since 1999 and officiated at the CIS level, PG Soccer Association and for the Prince George Youth Soccer Association.
My campaign for “A Positive Prince George” will be anchored by five pillars. Economic opportunity and diversification, Public Safety, Infrastructure, the Civic Core district plan and Accessibility and Inclusion. More information on the pillars can be found on my website, www.ronpolillo.com.
I am confident that my professional and political background, skill set and experience have prepared me well to ask for your support for another 4 years on City Council. I will continue to put in the time and energy needed to be a positive, effective and strong leader on Prince George City Council! I will continue to show up and put the hard work necessary for this important and demanding leadership role! It would be a true honour and privilege to serve the residents for another 4 years and give back to city that I love and have deep roots in! I have raised my family here and spent over 30 years making Prince George a safe, inclusive and thriving city.
I look forward to discussing what’s important to you and my vision with you during the campaign. You can find more about me, my campaign and support me by following Ron Polillo-City Councillor on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN or www.ronpolilo.com.

My Platform
I respectfully acknowledge the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh, on whose land we live, work and play.
Prince George is situated on the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh and their traditional lands cover much of the area from present-day Prince George to the Rocky Mountains. The word “Lheidli” means “where the two rivers flow together” and “T’enneh” means “the People.”
